Saturday #1 – Linlithgow to Manchester

No lie in’s and Netflix today.

My Mum and I drove down to Manchester to visit my Grandparents for a couple of days.

I went for a pub lunch with my Grandad and then we watched University Challenge and Athletics (very loudly) together.

One of the things I love about going to my Grandad’s house is all the old photos. I’ll spare you the pictures of 10 year old me but I do love this picture of my Grandad when he was young.

My Grandad is the one sitting down in the middle of the picture. He’s been involved in Scouts for around 60 years and has just been awarded with the Silver Acorn. I know nothing about Scouts awards but google reliably informed me that it’s the second highest scouts medal to be awarded so i’m taking that as a pretty big deal!

Now I’m off to have my dinner, no better excuse for eating out than visiting relatives!
